Medical device maker Medovations expands
Medical device maker Medovations Inc. recently started work on an addition to its 90,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and offices on Milwaukee's north side, the Department of City Development announced today.
Medovations, 102 E. Keefe Ave., announced last year plans for the 52,900-square-foot addition. The $3 million expansion is being built on a lot at 3316 N. Palmer that required an environmental cleanup by the city.
In anticipation of the expansion, Medovations added 12 new employees. The company hires nearly all of its 54 employees from the inner city, and provides on-the-job training.
